Announcement of Toilet Board Coalition Chair and Vice-Chairs 2023

The Toilet Board Coalition is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new leadership. After exemplary direction as Vice-Chair, Jenny Lewis, Vice President, of Kimberly-Clark Foundation has transitioned to Toilet Board Coalition Chair.

“As the head of the Kimberly-Clark Foundation, I have been involved with the Toilet Board Coalition since its inception in 2015 when Kimberly-Clark helped found it, which has allowed me to see the organization’s incredible growth and global impact over just a few years. The Coalition positively impacts the Sanitation Economy through its Accelerator program, where entrepreneurial energy collides with expertise from mentors at multinational corporations. In my new role as the Chair of the Toilet Board Coalition, I look forward to helping the organization make even more progress toward its bold goal to put itself out of business by 2030 since that means everyone will have access to reliable, dignified and safe sanitation.”

We are also extremely pleased to welcome Aalap Sharma, Global Brand Lead for Domestos, Unilever and Erin McCusker, Senior Vice President, Leader at SATO and LIXIL Public Partners into our leadership, as Toilet Board Coalition Vice-Chairs.

“As a founding Member of the Toilet Board Coalition, I believe multinational corporations like LIXIL, with a global network and diverse expertise, play a significant role in supporting ambitious entrepreneurs tackling the sanitation markets to grow and deliver on the potential of the sanitation economy. As the Coalition has itself grown and transitioned from a startup to early-growth, I am excited to step back into a leadership role as Vice-Chair and work closely with Kimberly Clark as Chair, and the Coalition as a whole, as we expand further with our 2030 strategy– serving the unmet needs of billions of people around the world who still lack access to safe sanitation.”

Private sector partnership with the Coalition brings together MNCs with the most innovative entrepreneurs, strengthening strategy, deepening purpose and accelerating sustainability.”
