AMR Industry Alliance and Toilet Board Coalition launch the “The Sanitation Fight Against AMR” – a Toolkit to empower local sanitation businesses in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.

Access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in communities prevents infection and can eliminate 60% of WASH-related antibiotic use. Thus, toilet owners and operators are a frontline of AMR defense and hygiene education. The Toolkit equips toilet owners and operators with checklists to adopt safe hygiene practices and a flyer to use in their toilet space for user education.
