Daigo Ishiyama is Director of Global Product Design and Development for the SATO business unit at LIXIL. An engineer by training, Ishiyama has been with the company for over 15 years. Before his current role with SATO, he served in a leading role on the New Product Development department at American Standard Brands in the US, now part of LIXIL. During his tenure there, Ishiyama designed and developed numerous mid to high end bathing and sanitaryware products that were introduced to market. Based in New Jersey, he brings the latest knowledge and thinking regarding toilet systems, product development and manufacturing techniques to innovate effective, affordable, aspirational products for the SATO business, which aims to address the sanitation needs of BoP population around the world. Ishiyama holds MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Industrial Design.
