Founded in 2015, the Toilet Board Coalition accelerates business solutions to the global sanitation crisis through its sector-leading Accelerator. The accelerator

We match entrepreneurs with global business leaders and investors to drive progress on Sustainable Development Goal 6 – sanitation for all by 2030. The Accelerator is a 12-month virtual programme offered in English, Spanish, French and Khmer.

We accelerate business solutions through business model coaching, corporate mentorship and access to investment. Over the last nine years, the Coalition has graduated 88 SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), impacting more than 5.7 million people daily and unlocking US$40 million in finance.

SANITATION ECONOMY

The Toilet Board Coalition pioneered the Sanitation Economy – a market-based approach to the sanitation system that builds on innovative business models and strategic collaborations to provide customer-centric & sustainable sanitation products and services to everyone, everywhere. Products and services range from toilet access to collection and transportation, digitised sanitation, and its reuse – where output products are sold back to local businesses or utilised on site.
