Currently working as a Senior Technical Advisor for PSI’s water, sanitation, and hygiene programs, John Sauer has over 15 years of program implementation, advocacy, and strategy development experience in the WASH sector. John leads efforts to execute market development programs, with a focus on dismantling barriers to growth, achieving increased use of WASH products and services. Before joining PSI, John worked for Water For People, Water Advocates, and Action Against Hunger with a recent focus on sanitation as a business in rural and urban contexts. John graduated from Fordham University in 1992 and holds a Master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT.
